JAMMU, 13-10-2021: Vice-Chancellor SKUAST-Jammu, Dr. J.P Sharma facilitated Dr. Ashwani Kumar, VAS Rathana, Block R.S.Pura on behalf of Department of Animal Husbandry Jammu for his immense contribution and bringing good no. of elite animals in the Livestock show held on 7th and 10th Oct 2021 with appreciation certificate and a memento. Also, progressive dairy farmers who came with Dr. Ashwani Kumar with their elite animals ( Cattle, buffalo, and Mare) were also facilitated by Vice-Chancellor with appreciation certificates and total prize money worth 31000.
Farmers thanked the SKUAST-J administration, Department of Animal Husbandry Jammu, and Dr. Ashwani Kumar for their support and motivation. Owner of dancing mare Sh. Pardeep Kumar R/O Rathana and owner of best Adult Murrow breed buffalo Sh. Manjeet Kumar R/o Rtahana got first prize and both being facilitated with special prize money of 5000 each along with appreciation certificates. Farmers assured that they will bring more elite animals and participated in the next Livestock show with full enthusiasm.
