Jammu, 14-03-2026: Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh Foundation and Hockey J&K organized the 11th Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sub Junior Men Hockey championship at KK Hakku Hockey Stadium Jammu. After a gap of 3 years, the Shaheed e Azam Bhagat Singh Foundation, in collaboration with Hockey J&K, is organizing the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sub Junior Men Hockey Championship 2026 w.e.f.12/3/26 to 15/3/26 at KK Hakku Astroturf Hockey Stadium in Jammu. In this championship, seven teams are participating. The eligibility for the player is that he should be born on or after 1st January 2010. Today on day 3 of the championship, 2 semifinal matches were played.
The first match was played between Badal Club Srinagar V/s Bandhurakh Hockey Club at 1 PM. In this match, Badal Hockey Club defeated Bandhurakh with a margin of 3 goals to 4 via tiebreakers. In this match, the player wearing jersey no 22 scored a field goal in the 25th minute of the game. Varun, wearing jersey number 27 scored a goal in the 58th minute of the game, a field goal for Badal Hockey Club.
In this closely contested match, Badhu Rakh Hockey Club also scored two goals. Sonu scored FG in 32 minutes of the game. Ankit scored a field goal in the 48th minute of the game. The match ended in a draw 2-2. In tie breaker, Badal Hockey Club converted 3 goals, whereas Bandhu Rakh Hockey scored 2 goals.
The second match was played between Guru Nanak Nagar Hockey Club V/s Khalsa Hockey Club which was won by Guru nanak nagar hockey club by a margin of 9 gaols to 0. For GNN Daksh scored 2 goals in the 18 and 19th minutes of game, Cap Ramandeep scored a gaols in the 22 mint of the game, whereas Manpreet, Harmandeep, Tejvir, and Prabal scored 1 goal each.
Ist match was inaugurated by Ishan Sharma a eminent businessman, and 2nd match was inaugurated by Er. Gurmeet singh Chief Engineer Rtd and a veteran Hockey player .
!st match was officiated by Kirandeep Singh and Saksham as umpires and Minakshi as scoring judge, Technical Officer Jagjeet Singh,Timing judge gurpreet Singh and reserve umpire Geeta.
2nd match was officiated by Kirandeep Singh and Sakshm as umpires and geeta as Scoring Judge ,Technical Officer Jagjeet Singh, timing judge gurpreet Singh and reserve umpire saksham
The final match will be played between Badal Hockey Club and Guru Nanak Hockey Club at 4 PM Sunday, 15.3.26, at KK Hakku Hockey Stadium, Jammu.
