RS PURA, Jan 5: Like other parts of Jammu and Kashmir, the 356th birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj was celebrated with religious fervor in RS Pura. Sangat reached various Gurudwaras in the area and received blessings of Guru ji.
In this connection, Singh Sabha Gurudwara Koolkalan RS Pura, the Parkash Purab of Guru Govind Singh Ji Maharaj was celebrated with great devotion, in which a large number of Sangat reached and received the blessings of Guru Ji. During this Shabad Kirtan was also organized in the Gurudwara.
On the occasion, several dignitaries DDC Member Prof Garu Ram Bhagat also paid obeisance and received the blessings of Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj.
Panchayat Sarpanch, Gurdeep Singh Saini congratulated all the countrymen on the holy festival of Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj and said that every year the birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj will be celebrated with devotion in the Singh Sabha Gurdwara located in village Kool Kalan.
The Sarpanch threw light on the life of Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj and said that Guru Ji sacrificed his entire family for the protection of religion and country. He said that we need to follow the path shown by Guru ji and always work for the betterment of the society. He said that those who follow the path shown by Guru ji and work for the betterment of the society and the country, their contribution is always appreciated.
The Sarpanch welcomed all the Sangat on this occasion and said that every year a huge program is organized by the Gurdwara Management Committee.
Professor Garu Ram Bhagat, who specially came to participate on this occasion, also congratulated the people on the auspicious occasion of Prakash Utsav of Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj through his thoughts.
A Langar was also organized on this occasion.
On the occasion, Sardar Avtar Singh, Chairman of Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Pradhan Joginder Singh, Sardar Hardeep Singh, Sardar Raghuveer Singh, Sardar Harjinder Singh, Sardar Swarnajit Singh and other officials of the committee also participated in the program.
