66 Polling parties dispatched for phase-IV DDC Elections in Kathua

KATHUA, DECEMBER 06:-  The District Election Authority Kathua today dispatched the Polling parties for Dinga-Amb where polling under Phase-IV of District Development Council (DDC) elections will be held tomorrow.

A total of 66 polling parties with reserve polling staff left for polling stations of Dinga-Amb block. The polling parties carrying ballot boxes and other election-related material were left from Government Degree College Kathua.

As informed by  DPEO, Om Prakash Bhagat, out of a total of 66 Polling stations, 19 have been identified as hypersensitive and 47 as Normal. The provision for adequate security along with assured minimum facilities at polling booths are being made for the smooth conduct of elections. He added that polling parties are also equipped with sanitizers, masks,s and PPE Kits for maintaining a safe polling environment in Polling stations.

Among others present were Deputy DEO, Election Nodal officers, and others concerned.
