New Delhi, Oct 8: On the occasion of the 93rd Air Force Day, President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, and other prominent leaders extended heartfelt greetings to Indian Air Force (IAF) personnel, veterans, and their families.
President Murmu, in a post, praised the IAF’s courage, commitment, and excellence, saying, “Our Air warriors protect our skies and serve the nation with tireless dedication during disasters and humanitarian missions. Our Air Force has made the nation proud with its strength and readiness to face every challenge.”
Prime Minister Modi lauded the IAF’s bravery, discipline, and precision, highlighting its vital role in safeguarding Indian skies during challenging situations and its commendable efforts during natural calamities.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah paid tribute to the martyrs and described the IAF as standing tall with steely courage and unwavering patriotism.
Congress Rajya Sabha leader Mallikarjun Kharge called the IAF a symbol of unmatched bravery and professionalism, while Lok Sabha LoP Rahul Gandhi said, “We honour your unparalleled valour, sacrifices, and selfless service to the nation.”
Air Force Day, observed annually on October 8, commemorates the IAF’s contributions to national security, disaster response, and humanitarian missions, celebrating the dedication of India’s air warriors.
