JAMMU OCTOBER 19: Principal Government Medical College, Jammu, Dr. Nasib Chand Digra today said that there are ninety-six covid patients under treatment in GMC and Associated Hospitals.
The GMC has a total of 75 patients out of which 16 are in the isolation ward, 13 are in CCU, 29 in ward no 3, and 17 in HDU. Of these, 12 have been provided with bipap facility and 3 patients are on ventilator support, he said. The Chest Disease Hospital has 21 patients and all have been provided with an oxygen supply facility. He further informed that three deaths have been reported in GMC in the last 24 hours.
The Principal GMC further informed that a total of 734 oxygen cylinders have been consumed in the last 24 hours, including 712 in GMC and 22 in CDH. He added that GMC has a buffer stock of 1200 cylinders whereas CD hospital has 51 cylinders in buffer stock.
