Jammu, Oct 17: BJP State General Secretary and in charge of Kashmir Vibodh Gupta(former MLC) today was addressing the meeting of office-bearers of Kashmir Displaced District and came down heavily on the opportunistic people’s alliance for Gupkar declaration. In his address, Vibodh termed Abdullah’s and Muftis as thugs of Kashmir who have always misled and cheated the people of Kashmir. He termed peoples’ alliance for Gupkar declaration as mere propaganda so as to once again misuse the innocent Kashmiris and strongly asserted that BJP will foil every conspiracy to bleed Kashmir again. He cleared the fact that Article 370 is a thing of the past and Abdullah and co are dancing on the beats of Pakistan which just desire to mislead the world on Kashmir.
Vibodh also reacted very sharply to the recent statement of Farooq Abdullah about China’s role in internal matters of our country. He reminded Farooq Abdullah that presently our nation is being led by a very strong Government and a bold and visionary Prime Minister. With Prime Minister Modi at the center, no one should question his ability to deal with any type of situation. Also, he asked the Jammu based leaders of NC, PDP, and Congress to clear their stand on such statements of Farooq Abdullah.
On this occasion, Vibodh called upon everyone to stand united against the anti-national and unholy people’s alliance for the Gupkar declaration and said that this is nothing but a hollow slogan with no support from the common masses. Vibodh said that Abdullah’s and Mufti have again found a new version of their earlier theatre drama and are now repackaging Self-rule and Autonomy slogans so as to keep their political shop running. He termed such political leaders as enemies of peace and development.
Vibodh also gave a call to Kashmiri youth to never fell prey to such politics which impacts their future adversely. Instead, he called upon the youth of Kashmir to be part of the developmental agenda and vision of PM Modi and this he said is the only way to make our UT a model UT of the country.
Speaking on the occasion District President Kashmir Displaced District Chand Ji Bhat said that Farooq Abdullah is responsible for the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from their homelands for which history will never forgive him. He said that we will fight every conspiracy to bleed Kashmir again and will ensure the unity and dignity of the country. Prominent among others who were present on the occasion included H K Razdan, Sanjay Bhat, Shubam Pandit, Vimal Raina, Mohan Lal Bhat, Rohit Tak, Babit Bhat, Vivek Bali, Bushan Lal Raina, and Sunny Tickoo.
