Jammu, 15-07-2022: Mr. Abhinav Anand apprised Mr. Arun Gupta CCI President regarding the burning issues faced by the traders & businessmen. He submitted that there should be concessions in the GST ration levied on essential commodities. Anand said that inflation in general has broken the back of the common masses who have been facing the brunt of the soaring prices of grocery and LPG fuel. He further said that a joint deputation of various Associations should be formed to present the problems confronted by the business community and the public by large before the govt.
Mr. Anand further submitted that CCI should emphasize the tourism potential of J&K and subsequently impress upon the govt to come up with a concrete plan to promote and develop tourism so that the tourism influx could be boosted in the UT. “With tourists pouring in J&K, it would result in multiple effects which would positively impact the business in all sectors”.
Mr. Abhinav Anand praised Mr. Arun Gupta and his entire team for their incredible job in espousing the come of the trading community. He said that CCI besides pursuing its responsibilities has also worked for other socio-economic issues prevalent in J&K and Jammu Province in particular.
Mr. Arun Gupta gave a patient hearing to Abhinav Anand and assured full cooperation in resolving the issues of the Trikuta Nagar Traders Association. He said that young entrepreneurs should also come forward to work for the trading community and common people for the betterment of society and the business sector.
