Mumbai, Dec 12 : Amid swirling divorce rumours online, Abhishek Bachchan has finally addressed concerns about his family and revealed how their daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan, reacts to internet gossip. Speaking in a recent interview, Abhishek emphasized that Aaradhya, now 14, is unbothered by social media rumours and doesn’t believe everything she reads online.
“She doesn’t sit and read these things. That’s not what she cares about, and she doesn’t believe anything she sees online. Her mother has taught her that not everything you read on the internet is true,” Abhishek said, highlighting the honest environment he and Aishwarya maintain at home.
Aaradhya’s upbringing and no-phone rule
Abhishek shared that Aaradhya still doesn’t have a phone, and her friends contact her through her mother. He credited Aishwarya for instilling respect for the film industry in their daughter.
“Aishwarya has taught her to respect the film industry and the work we do,” he said. “She tells Aaradhya that we are who we are today because of the love we get from the audience and our films.”
Abhishek also praised Aaradhya for being a confident teenager with her own opinions, stating, “She has her own views. We discuss them privately, and she expresses everything beautifully.”

On the professional front, Abhishek was last seen in Shoojit Sircar’s ‘I Want To Talk’, earning critical acclaim. He is now preparing for a negative role in ‘King’, a major entertainer starring Shah Rukh Khan.
