ACB Conducts Searches at Jammu Residence of Deputy CM’s Brother

Raid Underway in Santokh Vihar–Kalochak Area Over Alleged Disproportionate Assets

Jammu, Feb 25: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Wednesday conducted searches at the residence of Vijay Choudhary, brother of Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Kumar Choudhary, in connection with a disproportionate assets investigation, officials said.

Vijay Choudhary, an Inspector in the Jammu and Kashmir Police, is currently under scrutiny as part of the ongoing probe. Authorities confirmed that the search operation began early in the morning at his home in the Santokh Vihar–Kalochak area of Jammu and was still in progress at the time of reporting.

Officials stated that the action is linked to allegations of assets disproportionate to known sources of income. Vijay Choudhary had been transferred to Ladakh in September last year.

Further details are expected once the search proceedings conclude and the agency issues an official statement.
