KISHTWAR, NOVEMBER 08: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kishtwar Sham Lal today chaired a meeting of officers and counselors to review ongoing developmental projects of the Kishtwar Municipal Council.
During the meeting, a threadbare discussion was held regarding the various ongoing projects/works approved under Megaprojects, state CAPEX, My Town My Pride, District plan, 14th FC Grants, and IDMT.
Executive Officer, Municipal Council Kishtwar briefed the chair about the progress of works taken under different schemes. The meeting also discussed the bottlenecks hindering the progress of these projects.
The ADDC impressed upon the concerned officers to gear up the field functionaries so that the approved projects are completed within a set timeline.
The Executive Engineer R&B Division Kishtwar was directed to tender the left out projects/ works within one week and submit the weekly progress of these developmental projects to DC Kishtwar.
While discussing the issues hampering the progress of a few projects, the ADDC directed the EO MC Kishtwar and Xen R&B to work in tandem to resolve the bottlenecks.
The Executive Officer Municipal Council Kishtwar was directed to ensure the completion of all projects within a time-bound manner.
Meanwhile, counselors also highlighted various grievances and demands of their respective wards.
After listening to their grievances, the ADDC issued necessary directions to the concerned officers for resolution of the same in a time-bound manner.
The meeting was attended by Vice-President MC Kishtwar, Sanjeet Kotwal; all Counselors, Joint Director Planning Mohammad Iqbal; AD FS&CA, G N Lone; SE JPDCL Doda-Kishtwar Asgar Hussain; SE PWD Doda Kishtwar Ramban circle, Nisar Ahmed Zargar; EO MC Kishtwar Tariq Balwan, XEns of PHE and PWD besides other concerned officers.
