MUMBAI, Dec 23: In a light hearted twist on Kaun Banega Crorepati, Amitabh Bachchan swapped his host role for a brief stint as a student to learn the language of today’s youth. The teacher? Contestant MD Lucky Khan, who guided the 83-year-old superstar through a crash course in Gen Z slang.
The laughter began early when Big B asked Khan the question on everyone’s mind: “Sir, how many girlfriends do you have?” Khan’s candid reply “Sir, I am a bit of an extrovert. I open up easily with people, so I mostly end up in the friend zone” left the studio in splits. Amitabh quipped, “Yeh Gen Z ki bhasha hai,” admitting that he had just been handed a whole new dictionary.
Khan then introduced Big B to terms like “benching” and “situationship.” Amitabh’s reactions, a mix of confusion and fascination, kept viewers entertained and showcased his willingness to embrace slang far removed from his era. Adding to the humour, a relative jokingly remarked, “I am coaching him to become a doctor, but he has done his PhD in some other subject.”
This isn’t the first time Big B has explored Gen Z lingo on KBC. Earlier, actors Ananya Panday and Kartik Aaryan gave him a mini-lesson while promoting their film Tu Meri Main Tera, creating another memorable episode.
The upcoming episode promises more laughter and showcases Amitabh’s charm as he bridges generations with curiosity, wit, and good humour.
