Jammu, 6-02-2026: In a meeting headed by Sh. Virendra Jain, President, Association of Industries (Regd.) Gangyal, Jammu, the members have expressed that the Budget Proposals for the year 2026-27 have not included various proposals forwarded by the Association during the Pre-Budget Meeting with Hon’ble Chief Minister.
The Hon’ble Chief Minister has assigned to many sectors various priorities but the industrial sector, specifically the micro/small sectors, has not been accorded due priorities in an effort to protect the very existence of the Micro/Small sector units
AOI emphasis to provide Marketing Support vide Price/Purchase Preferences to enable local units play their role in the development of Jammu and Kashmir through quality products. AOI further emphasis to incorporate its suggestions in the formulation and finalization of proposed industrial policy specifically for Micro/Small sector which is the largest employment provider behind Govt. Departments/Agencies.
AOI further emphasis to provide Fiscal Incentive like Turnover Incentives and Interest Subvention to Micro/Small industrial sector till 2031 through adequate allocation of funds in the time bound manner.
The meeting was attended among others by Sh. S.C. Dutta, Sh. Sandeep Ohri, Sh. Sanjay Langar, Sh. Ajay Mahajan, Sh. Jatinder Singh etc.
