SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 21: Minister for Coperatives, Javid Ahmad Dar today introduced in the Legislative Assembly a Bill seeking to amend the Jammu and Kashmir Cooperative Societies Act, 1989.
“A Bill to amend the Jammu and Kashmir Cooperative Societies Act, 1989, to repeal the Jammu and Kashmir Self Reliant Cooperative Act, 1999 and to provide transitional arrangement of self-reliant cooperatives under the Jammu and Kashmir Cooperative Societies Act, 1989 and for matters connected or incidental thereto. (LA. Bill No.9 of 2026),” already published in an extraordinary issue of the Official Gazette.
