Azad Urges Hajj Pilgrims to Pray for Peace in Jammu and Kashmir

15-06-2023 : Democratic Progressive Azad Party Chairman Ghulam Nabi Azad extended his warm regards to the Hajj pilgrims at Hajj House in Srinagar on Thursday. During his visit, he inquired about the facilities and services provided by the UT government for the sacred pilgrimage. Showing his concern for their well-being, Mr. Azad offered further assistance to the pilgrims if needed.

In addition to addressing their immediate needs, Mr. Azad urged the Hajj pilgrims to use their spiritual journey as an opportunity to pray for peace and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir. Recognizing the significance of their prayers, he encouraged them to seek blessings for the whole of humanity, envisioning a new era of peace and development for the region.

“As you embark on this holiest pilgrimage of your lives, I implore you all to fervently pray for the peace and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir. I have faith that your prayers will be heard, paving the way for a new dawn of tranquility and progress,” Mr. Azad expressed his hopes to the Hajj pilgrims.

The gathering was attended by prominent members of the party, including G.M. Saroori, the Vice Chairman, Mohd Amin Bhatt, the Provincial President of Kashmir, Salman Nizami, the Chief Spokesperson, Shafiq Shabnam, the Provincial General Secretary, and Amir Bhatt, the District President of Srinagar, among others. The presence of these leaders further emphasized the party’s commitment to supporting the aspirations of the people and fostering a harmonious and prosperous environment in Jammu and Kashmir.
