Bali Bhagat slams Farooq, Mehbooba for raising hue & cry over holding G20 in Kashmir

JAMMU, MAY 5: Bali Bhagat, senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Minister has slammed the former Chief Ministers of erstwhile State of Jammu and Kashmir Dr Farooq Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti for their unwanted and objectionable statements against the holding of G20 Summit in Kashmir. He said that it is an irony that despite the whole nation is lauding the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for holding this historical international event in Jammu and Kashmir, these two CMs are unnecessarily raising hue and cry over a non issue.

In a statement issued to media here today, Bali Bhagat said that Dr Farooq and Mehbooba Mufti by airing such obnoxious statements against G20 Summit being held in Kashmir makes it amply clear that both the former CMs are agents of Pakistan as they are parroting the tone of Pakistan day in and day out. He said that earlier it was Pakistan which raised hue and cry over holding of the G20 summit in Kashmir and now these NC and PDP heads have started towing the Pakistani line. Asserting that both Dr Farooq and Mehbooba are spewing venom against the sovereignty of the nation, he demanded strict action against both of them under the law of the land.

The senior BJP leader accused Dr Farooq Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti of leaving no stone unturned in provoking the people of Jammu and Kashmir by issuing all sorts of irrelevant statements to disturb the aforesaid International level event and raise fingers against the Union Govt led by Narendra Modi. He said that these two erstwhile Chief Ministers never wanted to give peace a chance in J&K as they promoted their own personal interests by befooling the people of J&K.

While lauding Prime Minister Modi led Govt for holding G20 summit in J&K, Bali Bhagat came down heavily on the Congress Party said that its leader and then Prime Minister Pt Jawahar Lal Nehru committed the greatest blunder by taking a non issue to the United Nations for which the nation had to pay heavily. He said that the incumbent Govt led by Narendra Modi has been trying to undo the wrongs of the Congress regimes for about seven decades.
