Bengaluru, Feb 18: Former MP and Bamul president DK Suresh on Wednesday addressed circulating social media rumours claiming that Nandini products may cause cancer. He firmly rejected the allegations, stating, “Nandini has always been known for its quality. There is no adulteration in the products. Some miscreants spread false information on social media.”
Suresh confirmed that the matter will be reviewed at the federation’s upcoming management board meeting to determine the next steps. When asked about the source of the misinformation, he suggested that competitors or external parties could be behind the false claims.
Emphasizing Nandini’s commitment, Suresh said, “Nandini has never compromised on quality and will continue to provide safe products to customers while supporting farmers.” He also reassured consumers that the brand will maintain its high standards despite potential financial setbacks caused by the rumours.
