Bhalla and Sawhney condemn the government for failing on all fronts

Yogesh Sawhney blames Centre and LG Administration for deteriorating situation in J&K

03-05-2023 : JKPCC Working President Raman Bhalla presided over a District Jammu Urban meeting, which was organized by former Minister and District Urban In-charge Yogesh Sawhney. The meeting was well-attended by Congress leaders and workers who highlighted the alleged insensitive approach of the government towards several general issues, including water scarcity, bad condition of roads, erratic power supply, non-release of widow/handicapped pension, unemployment, high inflation, daily wage issues, and various other concerns.

Raman Bhalla expressed serious concern over the difficulties faced by the people due to rising unemployment, lack of development at the grass-roots level, and several other local issues that are not being addressed by the government. He urged the government to fulfill its promise of development and employment, stating that the people of J&K have suffered tremendous hardships due to the current situation. Bhalla criticized the BJP government for failing to control inflation and fulfill its promises, and urged the youth to support and trust Congress leadership from grassroots to national level.

Bhalla also asked the party office bearers to remain prepared for any political challenges that may arise and to augment the party’s organizational synergy at all levels. He claimed that the BJP would have to pay a heavy price for the conspiracy which it has allegedly knitted against the people of J&K. Bhalla emphasized that an elected government is the solution to all problems in the LG administration, which has badly failed to pursue the issues of development and welfare of society.

Yogesh Sawhney, in his address, criticized the Centre and LG Administration for the deteriorating situation in J&K, blaming them for failing to create an atmosphere of peace. Sawhney accused the J&K government of subjecting people to mental torture in order to hide its failures. He claimed that the government has miserably failed to deliver and that the misrule and mismanagement on their part have added to the woes of the people.

Several other leaders, including Manmohan Singh, Rajnish Sharma Mian, Refugee Cell Congress Chairman Amrit Bali, Sewadal Chief Vijay Sharma Babbi, Satish Sharma, Corporator Dewarka Choudhary, Dr. Ramakant Khajuria, Rajinder Jamwal, R P Mangotra, and others, also addressed the meeting. The meeting was attended by Aman Bawa, Sandeep Dogra, Satpal Spolia, Yougal Sharma, Mandeep Singh, Janak Raj, Atul Sharma, and others.
