India, Dec 02 : The Indian Golf Premier League (IGPL) Tour returns to Ahmedabad for its ninth leg, the IGPL Invitational, featuring the much anticipated comebacks of seasoned professionals Gaganjeet Bhullar and Karandeep Kochhar. Both golfers will be joined by IGPL Order of Merit leader Aman Raj, Pune winner Kapil Kumar, Jamshedpur winner Pukhraj Singh Gill, and Sachin Baisoya, who finished third at the Bharath Classic co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour and IGPL.

Bhullar, who triumphed in the first two events in Chandigarh and Jaypee Greens, seeks to extend his winning streak, while Kochhar aims for his first IGPL title, building on his impressive fifth place finish in the Asian Development Tour (ADT) Order of Merit that earned him a spot on the 2026 Asian Tour.

The tournament boasts a prize purse of Rs. 1.5 crore, with the winner set to take home Rs. 22.5 lakh. Following Ahmedabad, the final two IGPL events will be held in Dubai and Colombo, Sri Lanka.

The field is brimming with talent, including Olympians Udayan Mane and SSP Chawrasia, Asian Tour winner Chiragh Kumar, and international entrants Justin Quiban (Philippines), Santiago De La Fuentes (Mexico), and Indian-origin Americans Varun Chopra and Manav Shah. Young stars Kartik Singh and Veer Ganapathy are also eager to make their mark after challenging performances in previous tournaments.

Although Pranavi Urs, the first woman professional to win in a mixed field event in India, is not participating in the women’s section, the category will feature rising talents Ridhima Dilawari and Jasmine Shekar, among others.

The IGPL Invitational Ahmedabad promises thrilling competition and a showcase of India’s top golfing talent at the scenic Glade One Golf Resort and Club.
