Mumbai, Nov 7 : In a surprising development, television actors Neil Bhatt and Aishwarya Sharma, best known for their roles in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin and later appearances in Bigg Boss 17, have reportedly filed for divorce after nearly four years of marriage.
According to a News18 report, the couple, who tied the knot in 2021, have been living separately for some time, and the divorce formalities are expected to begin soon. “Neil and Aishwarya have been living apart for a long time now. They have now officially filed for divorce. While it’s unclear how their differences began, it’s confirmed that they are parting ways,” an insider told the outlet.
The duo first met on the sets of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, where their on-screen chemistry blossomed into a real life relationship. After dating for a while, they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in 2021. The couple also appeared together in Smart Jodi and later participated in Bigg Boss 17, gaining immense popularity as a pair.
Earlier this year, amid rumors of separation, Aishwarya had dismissed reports about trouble in their marriage through an Instagram Story. She wrote, “I have been silent for a long time—not because I’m weak but because I’m protecting my peace. Stop spreading news in my name. My life is not your content.”
As of now, neither Neil nor Aishwarya has issued an official statement confirming or denying the divorce reports.
