Bigg Boss 19: Salman Khan Tells Neelam Giri Her Opinions Aren’t Coming Through in the House

Host Salman Khan calls Neelam a “weak competitor” during Weekend Ka Vaar, sparking tension in the house

Mumbai, Oct 11 : In the upcoming Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 19, host Salman Khan told contestant Neelam Giri that she comes across as a “weak competitor” and that her opinions rarely surface in the house.

A promo shared on Instagram by the channel read: “Salman ne diya Neelam ko sach ka dose! Dekhiye #BiggBoss19 ka naya episode, har roz raat 9 baje #JioHotstar par aur 10:30 baje @colorstv par.”

During a candid discussion, Salman asked Neelam about her role in the playground task. She replied that contestants were supposed to “say the negatives of other housemates.” Referring to Neelam’s earlier refusal to cook in the kitchen, Salman questioned, “So what did Gaurav do wrong that made you angry at everyone?”

Neelam answered, “I didn’t want to do it, that’s why I refused.” Salman then told her, “This is the problem. In this house, your opinion doesn’t come out. The truth is that you are such a weak competitor that they don’t get any threat from you.”

This week, the nominated housemates include Mridul Tiwari, Zeishan Qaudri, Neelam Giri, Ashnoor Kaur, Pranit More, and Baseer Ali, while previously evicted contestants include Awez Darbar, Nagma Mirajkar, and Natasha Janoszek.

Based on the Dutch reality format Big Brother, Bigg Boss first premiered on November 3, 2006. Over the years, the show has completed 18 seasons and three OTT seasons. While Arshad Warsi hosted the first season and Shilpa Shetty the second, Amitabh Bachchan led the third. Salman Khan has been the primary host since season 4, except for occasional co-hosting stints, including Sanjay Dutt during season 5.

Bigg Boss 19 airs daily on JioHotstar and Colors TV.
