Patna, Nov 11: Voting commenced on Tuesday for 122 constituencies in Bihar as the state heads into the second and final phase of its high-stakes assembly elections, officials said. Polling began at 7 am and will continue until 5 pm, with strict security arrangements in place across the state.
In this decisive phase, the electoral fate of 1,302 candidates—including several ministers from the Nitish Kumar government will be determined. The elections are also being closely watched as a key test of political strength for smaller NDA partners, including the Hindustani Awam Morcha, led by Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, and Rashtriya Lok Morcha, headed by Rajya Sabha MP Upendra Kushwaha.
