Jammu, Aug 23- AICC Secretary Incharge Congress President Media Communication Shri Pranav Jha has said that Modi’s Vikas model is the Mittarvad model and under his regime investigation or action is taken against political opponents only but not against anyone close to Prime Minister or BJP whatsoever may be allegations, while raising serious questions over the failure to take action & resignation of SEBI chairperson Madhu Puri Buchh in the wake of serious allegations about her role and demanded that Hon’ble supreme court should take suo – moto cognizance in the matter.
Flanked by JKPCC senior vice president and chief spokesperson Mr Ravinder Sharma, Vice presidents, Vinod Sharma & Ved Mahajan besides Kapil Singh, Neeraj Gupta, and Rajveer Singh, Jha said that how a person from a small businessman has risen to one of richest people of the world.in Modi, rule It is the result of “Mittarvaad” under Modi regime.
He expressed concern that one or two persons close to BJP and PM Modi are now controlling the entire economic System of this country during a short regime of PM Modi, putting the interests of the common man at great risk.
He referred to the episode of CBI raid on NDTV in June 2017 and later Adani group became the owner of 64.17% of its proprietorship on 11 DEC 2020, CBI TEAM RAIDED Ambuja Cement and on 16 DEC 2022, Adani group took over Ambuja Cement on 28 July 2020, ED teams raided GVK group offices & company there after on 14 July 2021 Adani group has share of 98% partnership in GVK airports . On 11th Oct 2018 , IT raided Quint offices in Noida & On 27th March 2023 Adani group got 49% Share in the Quintilian business in 48 crores on 29th march 2018, IT raided krishanapatnam Airport & on 5th Oct 2020 Adani nports and SEZ got control of krishanapatnam Airport in 27th June Ultratech cement (kumar Manglam Birla) took over India Cements & Adani group could not get it, As a result on Aug 6, 2024 CBI registered a case against Aditya Birlas Hindalco company. He cited the case of under interest shown by CBI & LIC in purchasing the shares of Adani and gave the huge loan to the Adani copper plant in Mundra, Navi Mumbai Airport & UP express way project & other such projects putting interest of small investors into great risks he said main investors in Adani enterprises FPO were LIC (299 cr bid) , SBI employees pension Fund (299cr) SBI LIC (125 cr. bid ) were included LIC & SBI invested despite fall in the market.
He cited several other instances of Modi s “MITARKAL” and said that in the recent Hinderburg report, it has come to light that apart from Modis govt, the chairperson of SEBI was also a part of this game plan. The controversial role of SEBI chairperson has put the creditability of SEBI at stake, leading to huge internal damage to INDIAN stock market.
He questioned why SEBI chairperson has not resigned in the wake of these allegations & exposed, who will be responsible if crores of investors loose their investments and should not the Hon,ble supreme court take Suo – moto cognizance of this serious matter, he added.
JHA said that the nation should know that what is happening in this country under Modi regime put in the interest of the common man to great risk.
Mr. Ravinder Sharma Senior Vice President & Chief Spokesperson said that BJP is in panic after seat sharing between INC-NC in Jammu and Kashmir and BJP is now resorting to negative politics. BJP & Home Minister is raising fingers on those parties with whom BJP shared power in J&K and Centre. BJP and HM should answer first why it formed power with PDP which was far ahead of NC on these issues. BJP shares power one day and next day term those parties as separatists and pro-Pakistan, which is sheer opportunism of BJP,. Congress is against politics of hate and division and it never compromises on the issue of terrorism and national interests, he added.
