Jammu, 13 December 2025: Bharatiya Janata Party, Jammu & Kashmir led by its senior leaders, inaugurated the new BJP District Jammu South office at the party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
President, J&K BJP, and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma (CA), along with General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul, inaugurated the office of District Jammu South in the presence of J&K BJP Vice-Presidents Rakesh Mahajan, and Rekha Mahajan, General Secretary Baldev Billawaria, MLA Ch. Vikram Randhawa, Library Incharge Prof. Kulbhushan Mohtra, District Jammu South team, and other prominent leaders and party activists.
The programme was organized by the BJP District Jammu South unit under the leadership of its President Naresh Singh Jasrotia.
Addressing the party leaders, Sat Sharma said that the inauguration of a dedicated district office for Jammu South is a significant step towards further strengthening the organizational structure of the BJP at the grassroots level. He said that an own district office acts as a permanent center for coordination, planning, and interaction between party leadership and workers. He emphasized that such offices provide an institutional framework where public issues can be discussed, grievances addressed, and organizational activities carried out in a systematic manner. He added that a well-equipped office boosts the morale of party workers and enhances the party’s outreach among the people. He called upon the district team to utilize the office as a hub of constructive political activity dedicated to public service, good governance, and nation-building.
Ashok Koul, in his address, highlighted the practical benefits of having a fully functional district office. He said that with the inauguration of the Jammu South district office, it would serve as a facilitation center for party workers, enabling better coordination, smoother organizational functioning, and effective implementation of party programmes. He asked the district team to maintain discipline, regularity, and organizational focus while working from the new premises.
Naresh Singh Jasrotia, who formally assumed charge in the newly allotted office, expressed his delight and thanked state leadership for their guidance, trust, and support in providing a dedicated office for the district unit. He assured the leadership that the Jammu South team would work with renewed enthusiasm and commitment to strengthen the party and serve the people with dedication and sincerity.
