Nominations to Begin January 13 Official Declaration of Winners Set for January 14

Ranchi, Jan 12: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jharkhand unit on Monday released the official schedule for the election of its state president and members of the National Council, as part of the party’s ongoing organisational exercise.

The election process will be conducted under the supervision of BJP national election authority Dr. K. Laxman, with Union Minister Jual Oram appointed as the state election officer for Jharkhand.

As per the notification, nominations for the posts of state president and National Council membership will be filed on January 13 between 12 noon and 2 pm at the BJP state headquarters in Ranchi. Scrutiny of the nomination papers will take place from 2 pm to 3 pm, followed by the withdrawal of nominations from 3 pm to 5 pm on the same day.

The official declaration of elected members, including the state president, is scheduled for January 14 at 2 pm. Voting will only be conducted if deemed necessary.

The election schedule has been issued by BJP Jharkhand state election officer and MP Pradeep Verma, with copies forwarded to senior party leaders at both national and state levels to ensure smooth conduct of the process.

The organisational exercise reflects BJP’s focus on strengthening its state-level leadership and preparing for upcoming political and electoral engagements in Jharkhand.
