JAMMU, Feb 3: BJP legislators Rajiv Jasrotia and Pawan Gupta staged a walkout from the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly on Tuesday, expressing dissatisfaction with the government’s responses during the session.
Jasrotia walked out after receiving what he described as “unsatisfactory and evasive answers” from the authorities. Soon after, Gupta of Udhampur joined him in protest, leaving the House in solidarity.
The walkout comes amid heightened protests both inside and outside the Assembly, with members demanding concrete action and clear explanations on pressing constituency issues.
The second day of the Assembly session continues, with further developments awaited on the legislative agenda.
