New Delhi, Oct 15: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday released its official list of candidates for upcoming Assembly by elections across several states, including Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Odisha, and Telangana. The announcements were approved by the party’s Central Election Committee.
In Jammu and Kashmir, Aga Syed Mohsin has been nominated from Budgam constituency (No. 27), while Devyani Rana will contest from Nagrota constituency (No. 77).
For other states, the party has fielded Babulal Soren from Ghatsila (ST) in Jharkhand, Jay Dholakia from Nuapada in Odisha, and Lankala Deepak Reddy from Jubilee Hills in Telangana.
The BJP’s candidate list comes ahead of the bypolls, aimed at strengthening the party’s presence in strategic constituencies across these states.
