JAMMU,11-01-2023 : Kavinder Gupta, senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister on Wednesday came in support of the people protesting against the construction of expressway at Chhan Arorian in Kathua District and assured that his party is standing shoulder to shoulder with the affected lot and will ensure justice to all and injustice to none.
In a statement issued to media persons, the BJP stalwart leader asserted that BJP leadership in J&K will take up the matter before the concerned quarters in the government and ensure that people get justice without any hassle or compromise. He asked the people to keep faith in Modi Government as the same will never let them down because it has the record of providing justice to genuine segments of the society although the corrupt and unprincipled do get a befitting response.
The senior BJP leader asked the protesting people of the aforesaid village to suspend their agitation and assured that BJP will represent their case before the government for a favourable outcome.
It is pertinent to mention that people are sitting at Dharna for the last many days seeking adequate compensation of their land and buildings which have come under Delhi Katra Expressway.
Kavinder expressed solidarity with affected parties including shopkeepers and inhabitants of Chhan Arorian, and assured that their genuine issues will be addressed on priority. He said that Modi Government has created colossal infrastructure across the country and there is not a single case wherein people have objected or complained about insufficient compensation therefore the residents of Chhan Arorian should also rest assured about getting proper compensation and other reliefs and they should fall prey to other parties traps because BJP Government has the obligation to provide due rights to people and under no circumstances it will shy away from doing what is right.
