BJP to celebrate Good Governance Day in all 90 constituencies of J&K: Kavinder

Gear up for upcoming Assembly election in J&K; Kavinder tells BJP cadre 

JAMMU: Senior BJP leader and former deputy chief minister Kavinder Gupta on Saturday asked the party cadre to gear up for the upcoming Assembly election by disseminating the information on achievements and policies of the party among the masses.

Addressing party workers here, the BJP stalwart said that December 25, 2022, is being celebrated by the party as Good Governance Day to mark the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He said that the event will be celebrated simultaneously in all the 90 constituencies of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory to honour former Prime Minister Vajpayee by fostering awareness among the masses about the accountability of government.

Kavinder also asked the party cadre to gear up for Assembly elections which may be held in the second quarter of 2023. He said that the grassroots level workers are the ambassadors of the party and it is their contribution that BJP is today’s world’s biggest political outfit.  He asked them to disseminate the policies of the BJP at every household of the Union Territory so that people have an idea of what the BJP has in offing for them.

Meanwhile, Kavinder also welcomed the decision of the Modi Government for extending free ration upto December 2023. He said that such decisions of the government are testimony to the fact that it is concerned about the hardships that the common man is facing.  He said that PM Modi’s decisions about the poor people show that his government is standing shoulder to shoulder with the underprivileged and needy and would do everything possible to provide succor to the masses.

The former deputy Chief Minister also welcomed the decision of the Centre fulfilling the long pending demand of retired army personnel with regard to one rank one pension.
