NEW DELHI, May 15: Bollywood production houses are preparing larger international releases in 2026 following strong overseas earnings during the first quarter of the year.
Trade experts said audiences in North America, the Gulf region and Southeast Asia continue to show growing interest in Hindi-language action and family dramas. Producers are also planning multilingual releases to widen their reach.
Cinema chains in several countries have added more screenings for Indian films, reflecting rising demand among diaspora communities and non-Indian viewers.
Analysts said improved digital marketing campaigns and collaborations with foreign distributors are helping Indian studios strengthen their global presence.
