Distributes free artificial limbs among differently-abled

JAMMU: Aids and assistive devices for empowerment of Divyangjan and bringing them in the mainstream of society have always been one of the topmost priorities of the Modi Government. Such initiatives are fitting tribute to the ideals and values that our society stands for.

This was stated by Kavinder Gupta, Senior BJP leader and former minister after distributing free artificial limbs during a camp organised by BJP party workers in collaboration with Shree Attam Vallab Jain Charitable Society as a part of ongoing Seva Pakhwada.

Kavinder said selfless efforts to help others in need are the true service of mankind. It is our primary responsibility to mobilize resources for the Divyangjan, create infrastructure and facilities to make them equal partners in the nation’s development journey. He said that the under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the J&K Government is making dedicated efforts to bridge the gap between the aspirations of the citizens and the administrative delivery for the development of an inclusive society in Jammu and Kashmir.

Kavinder said that the fortnight programmes in connection with the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi carry significance and are directly linked to the service of nation and mankind. He said that peace, prosperity and welfare of the Jammu and Kashmir are the top most priority of our Prime Narendra Modi who dedicated his whole life for the service of humanity.

The senior BJP leader further informed that during the ‘Seva Pakhwada’ multiple programmes will be organized across the nation including social service events like blood donation camps, health and medical camps, information dissemination programmes and many more. He appealed to the people of Jammu and Kashmir to come forward and make the celebration of ongoing ‘Seva Pakhwada’ more meaningful and result oriented by their proactive participation.
