British Airways London–Hyderabad Flight Departs Nagpur After 29-Hour Delay

British Airways London–Hyderabad Flight Resumes Journey After Extended Halt in Nagpur

NAGPUR: The British Airways London–Hyderabad Dreamliner that was diverted earlier this week finally departed from Nagpur on Wednesday morning, ending a 29-hour delay caused by a technical snag.

The aircraft, originally carrying 169 travellers, had been rerouted to Nagpur around 5 am on Tuesday due to adverse weather conditions in Hyderabad. After landing, the plane was unable to continue its journey because of an engineering issue that required immediate attention.

An engineering team from British Airways arrived in Nagpur late Tuesday evening to assess and resolve the fault. Following necessary checks and repairs, the aircraft took off at approximately 10 am on Wednesday with about 127 passengers on board.

Sources indicated that several passengers opted for alternative arrangements to reach Hyderabad during the prolonged halt. After completing its onward sector to Hyderabad, the aircraft later proceeded on its scheduled return service to London.

Airport authorities monitored the situation as the airline coordinated technical clearances and passenger logistics before resuming operations.
