Bureaucratic rule plunging lives of people into despair: Sagar

Welcomes number of socio political activists into NC fold, asks youth to step up to fortify  democratic forces
Srinagar, 03 Aug: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference General Secretary Haji Ali Muhammad Sagar on Saturday said the myopic decisions made by the bureaucratic government do not align with the region’s geography, topography, and needs.

Addressing a function convened by the party’s In Charge Constituency Lal Chowk, Ahsan Pardesi, at the party headquarters Nawa-e-Subha, Sagar emphasized the detrimental impact of these decisions on the people of Jammu and Kashmir, necessitating for establishment of a democratically elected government in the beleagured region.

On the occassion Sagar, along with the I/C Ahsan Pardesi welcomed scores of socio political activists from the Lal Chowk constituency into the party fold. Among others Provincial President Women’s wing Er.Sabiya Qadri and District President Srinagar Pir Afaq Ahmad also addressed the gathering.

Welcoming the new entrants, Sagar hoped that their wide-ranging experiance in public life and social service will strengthen the party at the grassroot level. Sagar further said that the persistent undemocratic rule has bestowed sweeping powers upon the faceless bureaucracy, rendering them unaccountable to the people. “The  grip of faceless bureaucratic rule has plunged the lives of the people into despair. Lost and confused, they wander aimlessly, unsure of where to turn for help. Instead of answers, they are met with silence and shifting blame. This pervasive issue infects every corner of society, and it must come to an end,” Sagar said.

“It is the duty of the youth to rise up and take on this crucial responsibility. The recent parliamentary elections served as a powerful reminder of the strength and influence of the youth. They hold the key to unlocking the true potential of democracy. As we approach the upcoming assembly elections, the youth must step up and fight to fortify the democratic forces. The youth are rallying behind the National Conference leadership Dr. Farooq sahib, and Omar sahib, recognizing that it is only through their leadership that they can escape the current turmoil. The youth must unite, stand together, and pave the way for a brighter future. The power lies within them to bring about real change and shape the destiny of our region, protecting it’s unique identity and historical individuality.”
