India, June 30 : Model and actress Cara Delevingne has publicly acknowledged for the first time that she was romantically involved with Amber Heard after the actress’s separation from former husband Johnny Depp, putting years of speculation to rest. The revelation came during a candid conversation on The Louis Theroux Podcast, where Delevingne discussed the timeline of her relationship with Heard and addressed persistent rumours that had surrounded the high-profile legal battle between Depp and Heard.
During the interview, podcast host Louis Theroux referred to reports suggesting that Johnny Depp had become deeply suspicious of Delevingne during his marriage to Heard. According to Theroux, Depp was believed to have been troubled by the possibility that Heard was involved with the British actor while they were still together.
Responding carefully, Delevingne initially hesitated before explaining that the rumours began because she and Heard had worked together on the 2018 film London Fields. Depp was also associated with the project during its production, leading to widespread speculation at the time.
Delevingne clarified that there was no romantic involvement between her and Heard while the actress was still married to Depp. She stated that their relationship developed only after the couple had officially separated and were in the middle of divorce proceedings.
