India, Apr 16 : In a significant step toward reforming India’s examination system, CBSE has announced the schedule for the List of Candidates (LOC) submission for the second board examination for Class 10 students in 2026.
The introduction of a second examination opportunity is part of a broader effort to reduce the high-stakes nature of board exams. Students who wish to improve their scores will now have the flexibility to reappear in selected subjects, particularly core disciplines such as Mathematics.
The LOC submission process, which begins on April 16 and continues until April 20, is a crucial administrative step. It ensures that eligible students can register for the improvement exams within the stipulated timeline.
