CBSE Launches Month-Long Academic Support Programme for Ladakh Students

The initiative targets Class 10 and 12 students with academic guidance, counselling and subject specific assistance ahead of board examinations.

New Delhi, Sep 15: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched a month long support programme for Class 10 and Class 12 students in Ladakh, aimed at providing additional academic assistance ahead of the board examinations.

The initiative has been designed to address the specific educational challenges faced by students in the Union Territory, including geographical isolation and limited access to academic resources.

Under the programme, students will receive structured academic guidance along with counselling and study-skills sessions. Subject-specific support will also form part of the initiative to help learners strengthen their preparation for the upcoming examinations.

The programme reflects efforts to provide students in geographically challenging regions with greater access to academic assistance and guidance. CBSE’s initiative is expected to support learners as they prepare for examinations that play an important role in their further education.

The board has been working to expand academic support mechanisms so that students from different regions can access learning resources and examination guidance.

The Ladakh programme is focused specifically on students in Classes 10 and 12, who are preparing for their respective board examinations.
