09-12-2021: A Meeting of the Office Bearers of Chamber of Commerce & Industry was held today at Chamber House under the Presidentship of Sh. Arun Gupta and condoled the sad and untimely demise of Indian first Chief of Defence Staff General Vipan Rawat, recalled his services to the Armed Force as well as to the Country and also said that his contribution in protecting the interests of the country will always be remembered. General Rawat had played a major role in dealing with Cross Border terrorism and Military in Jammu and Kashmir. He was also part of planning when India carried out surgical strikes against terror launch pads across the Line of Control in Pakistan occupied Kashmir that inflected significant casualties on the adversary. Two Minutes of silence was also observed.
