During the meeting, the delegation highlighted various issues and challenges faced by the trading community and stressed the need for a balanced regulatory framework—one that safeguards consumer interests while ensuring ease of doing business. These initiatives aim to foster mutual trust, promote voluntary compliance, and educate stakeholders about the provisions of the Legal Metrology laws. He also expressed hope that the Chamber will proactively encourage its members to strictly adhere to Legal Metrology norms, thereby minimizing violations and promoting responsible trade practices.
