Amaravati, April 26 : Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday expressed gratitude after being conferred the ‘Business Reformer of the Year’ award, describing the recognition as a tribute to the people of the state and their collective contributions to its progress.
Accepting the honour presented by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Naidu said the award reflects Andhra Pradesh’s growing stature as a hub for investment and innovation, driven by consistent governance reforms and forward looking policy initiatives.
In a post shared on the social media platform X, the Chief Minister termed the recognition an “honour and privilege,” while emphasising that the credit belongs to citizens, policymakers, and stakeholders who have played a role in shaping the state’s development journey.
Naidu underlined that the accolade highlights the government’s sustained push toward economic transformation, ease of doing business, and attracting global investments. He noted that Andhra Pradesh has been steadily advancing through coordinated efforts involving Cabinet members, administrative officials, policy experts, and industry leaders.
The Chief Minister also pointed to the importance of collaboration between the government and investors in fostering a favourable business environment, which has contributed to the state’s ongoing economic expansion.
Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh Governor S Abdul Nazeer extended his congratulations to Naidu for the achievement at an event held in Mumbai. In an official statement, the Governor said the recognition mirrors the Chief Minister’s emphasis on efficient governance, infrastructure development, and progressive industrial policies.
Nazeer highlighted that the state’s focus on rapid decision making, investor friendly initiatives, and key sectors such as information technology and green energy has played a crucial role in attracting large scale investments and boosting overall growth.
The award, he added, acknowledges Andhra Pradesh’s strategic direction under Naidu’s leadership, particularly in creating a conducive ecosystem for business and innovation.
