CM Omar Abdullah expresses grief over loss of lives of J&K residents in Kuwait road accident

Assures early repatriation of mortal remains of deceased

SRINAGAR, APRIL 10: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has expressed profound grief over the tragic loss of lives of residents from Thanamandi and Surankote in a road accident in Kuwait.

In a condolence message, the Chief Minister conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families, sharing in their pain during this moment of immense sorrow.

He prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls and strength to the families to bear this irreparable loss.

The Chief Minister stated that the Government of Jammu and Kashmir is in close coordination with the concerned authorities to ensure that all necessary formalities are expedited for the early repatriation of the mortal remains. He assured that every possible assistance will be extended to the affected families.

A tragic road accident in Kuwait has claimed the lives of residents of Jammu and Kashmir including individuals hailing from the Thanamandi and Surankote areas of Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri and Poonch districts.
