LUCKNOW, Dec 31 : As Uttar Pradesh prepares to welcome the New Year, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reflected on the state’s achievements in technology, AI, and governance in 2025, while urging the youth to promote computer awareness among children in 2026.
In an open letter to residents, uploaded on social media, CM Adityanath wrote, “I would like my young companions to take a special resolution for 2026. Awaken five children around you about computers and AI. Dedicate at least one hour every week for ‘Gyan Daan’ (knowledge donation).”
The Chief Minister highlighted that 2025 will be remembered for establishing new benchmarks in innovation, data, and AI. “Uttar Pradesh is setting forward looking standards of development. Good governance in the state has strengthened ‘Brand UP’ globally, making it a trusted destination for investors,” he added.
CM Adityanath emphasized the importance of law and order in attracting investments, stating, “Investments can only be secure when society and the state are safe. Our focus on safety and governance has made Uttar Pradesh a state of investor confidence.”
Looking ahead, the Chief Minister outlined ambitious plans for the state’s technology sector. “Preparations are underway to establish ‘AI City’ in Lucknow and Noida. A semiconductor unit is being constructed in Jewar at a cost of Rs 3,700 crore. The success of our data centre policy, built around ‘Swadeshi Centre, Secure Data’, is beginning to show positive results,” he said.
With these initiatives, Uttar Pradesh aims to position itself as a hub for innovation, technology, and AI, further strengthening its role in India’s economic and industrial growth story.
