Committee Formed To Evaluate Proposals For Industrial Development Scheme In J&K

JAMMU, July 30: The Government of Jammu & Kashmir has established a dedicated committee to assess proposals from academic institutions for the New Central Sector Scheme for Industrial Development of Jammu & Kashmir-2021. This initiative aims to bolster the region’s industrial growth by leveraging the expertise and innovative methodologies offered by various educational institutions.

Chaired by the Secretary of the Industries & Commerce Department, the committee comprises key members, including the Directors of Industries & Commerce for both Jammu and Kashmir. Their primary responsibility is to undertake a thorough evaluation and objective analysis of the submitted methodologies, ensuring that the most suitable institution is selected for the assignment.

The committee is expected to deliver a detailed report within 15 days from the date of the order, providing their recommendations based on the comprehensive review. This swift and systematic approach underscores the government’s commitment to advancing industrial development in Jammu & Kashmir through strategic collaboration with academic institutions.
