Jammu, 21-10-2024: Confederation of Dalit, OBC Minority, & Adivasi Organisations Jammu & Kashmir condemns yesterday’s civilian killings in the Gagangeer area of Sonamarg, Ganderwal Kashmir, where a billion dollar Tunnel Project for military transportation is underway. Despite the Home Minister’s claims of curbing extremism, the number of civilian casualties continues to rise in Jammu & Kashmir It is unacceptable that the Home Minister’s tenure is marred by such incidents, and it is high time that they take moral responsibility for their failures.
The Home Minister’s claims of success in curbing terrorist activities whereas the ground reality is that civilians are still being killed and the government has failed to provide security to its citizens. R K Kalsotra State President Confederations expressed his resentment that We are worried and afraid about the people, especially Inter Distt Employees serving in Kashmir valley without any protection. We demand that Govt take immediate action to address this situation and that justice is delivered to the families of the Victims. Our heartfelt condolences to the families who lost their members.
