Congress demand inclusion of Punjabi language as the official language in Jammu and Kashmir

Jammu, March 05: A  meeting of the Minority Department of Jammu Dist. was held here today, at PCC HQ Shaheedi Chowk Jammu, by its chairman S. Baldev Singh under the guidance of  Michael Wazir- State coordinator. The various issues of public concern were discussed in detail.

Speaking on the occasion Michael Wazir reinstated their demand of the appointment of  “Centre Minority Commission Coordinator” in JK UT for the holistic development of minority communities in  Jammu and Kashmir. He also appealed to people of minority communities in JK UT to come forward and join the congress party which is the only party that fights for the rights of the minorities.

Sdr. Baldev Singh Wazir demanded the inclusion of the Punjab language as the official language in Jammu and Kashmir. He also demanded the installation of Bandha Singh Badhur’s statue at kunjani chowk.
