Jammu, August 20, 2026: The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee has expressed deep shock over the loss of lives and injuries in a bus accident today at the Khagote area of Ramnagar in Udhampur Dist.
President JKPCC Shri Tariq Hameed Karra and other senior leaders of the party have expressed deep shock and grief over the loss of several precious lives and many injured in a bus accident at Khagote area of Ramnagar. The bus was on its way from Ramnagar to Udhampur.
PCC Working President Shri Raman Bhalla, Senior leaders Shri Mula Ram (Ex-Minister), Ex-MP Ch. Lal Singh, Chief Spokesperson, Shri Ravinder Sharma, Ex-Ministers, Yogesh Sawhney, Jugal Kishore Sharma, G.M. Saroori, Majid Wani, Jagjeevan Lal, Ex- MLC I/C HQ Shri Ved Mhajan, Naresh Gupta, Kishan Chander Bhagat, Sumeet Magotra, Ashok Gupta, Vinod Khajuria, Ashok Bakshi, Surinder Adv. Varinder Singh Manhas, Iqbal Dar; Vijayant Pathania, Adv. Bhavishya Sudan, Sohit Sharma, Ram Magotra, Rakesh Sharma, and others expressed deep shock over the loss of precious lives in the bus accident in which many passengers were also injured. They conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the early recovery of the injured. The leaders also urged the govt. to provide immediate special medical help to the surviving passengers and financial help to the families of the deceased and the injured.
