Jammu Nov. 17 : JKPCC chief Shri Tariq Hameed karra today chaired a review cum preparatory meeting of the party to celebrate the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Smt. Indira Gandhi.
The meeting was attended by Working President Raman BHalla, Senior leaders, former ministers/ EX- Legislators, DCC Presidents, frontal wings & Ex Corporators. The meeting decided to celebrate the birth Anniversary of Smt. Indira Gandhi on Nov 19th and in a befitting manner.
The function to celebrate Indira ji’s Birth Anniversary on Nov. 19th will be held at JK Resort Jammu.
Addressing the gathering, PCC chief asked the party leaders & workers to gear up their struggle for restoration of statehood and also to strengthen the grass root committees, block committee, district committees with induction of right & dedicated & committed workers at all levels. He said that working of committees shall be reviewed and the committees at all levels shell be reconstituted & to further Strengthen them.
He said that till new committees are constituted the existing District & block committees shall continue to function & asked them to gear up their activities in respective areas .
He said that second line leadership shall be encouraged and promoted based on merit & said that there shall no favoritism or bias in giving opportunities to work in the organization.
Karra also said that “ Ghar Ghar Dastak-Har Ghar Dastaka” campaign for restoration of statehood shall be launched & series of programs shall be initiated till the statehood is restored.
