NEW DELHI, 06-01-2024: The Congress party, has officially unveiled the logo and slogan for its upcoming initiative, the ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra.’ The unveiling ceremony took place at the All India Congress Committee headquarters in Delhi and was attended by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Jairam Ramesh (General Secretary in-charge communications), and KC Venugopal (General Secretary).
The slogan for the ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ is “Nyay ka haq milne tak” (Until the right to justice is achieved). According to Kharge, this yatra, led by Rahul Gandhi, aims to take a strong step towards providing economic, social, and political justice to the people of the country.
During the event, Kharge criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not visiting Manipur, a region experiencing ethnic violence. He emphasized that Congress is reaching out to the people to convey that there is no alternative. Despite attempts to raise issues in Parliament, the government provided no opportunity, resulting in the suspension of 146 MPs—a historic first in the country.
Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ is scheduled to commence from Imphal on January 14, covering a vast distance of 6,713 kilometers. The journey will span across 100 Lok Sabha constituencies, 337 assembly segments, and 110 districts, culminating in Mumbai on March 20 or 21. The yatra aims to address and highlight key issues related to justice and inclusivity in various parts of the country, as reported.
