Courts don’t discriminate between political stalwarts, common man: Kavinder

“Power, money, position can’t change course of law”

JAMMU,06-04-2023 : Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta on Thursday said that the courts in the country never discriminate between political leaders and the common man.

BJP stalwart leader said this in wake of Supreme Court’s verdict rejecting the plea of fourteen political outfits alleging misuse of central probing agencies. He said, this is the greatness of Indian Judicial System that it never discriminates on the basis of property, position or any other criteria. He said under law every citizen whether ‘king’ or ‘pauper’ has equal rights and therefore politicians don’t enjoy any immunity.

Kavinder was speaking at the sidelines of party’s Foundation Day celebrations here at Nai Basti. Earlier, the senior BJP functionary hoisted BJP flags at several places in Gandhi Nagar Constituency. Vinay Gupta, Pawan Singh Corporator, Shallu Gupta, Kamal Chowdhary, Naveen Gupta, Renu Mahajan, Varinder Kumar, Krishan Jandial, Davinder Vaid, Renu Gupta, Puran Chand, Mohinder Pal and Jatinder Bunty were also present.

Addressing the gatherings, the senior BJP leader said that party cadre in J&K is committed to reach out every single resident and help him or her to avail the benefits of centre’s welfare schemes. He said that BJP workers are not only political activists but they are part of nationalist work force, which always stood for the cause of common man and assists people in need.

Kavinder also paid homage to the party leaders who laid down their lives for the cause of BJP. He said that after 42 years of journey we feel indebted to the veteran leaders who contributed in raising its seats from 2 to 300 in the Lok Sabha. He said that today BJP is the largest party of the world and connected firmly to the people of this nation.

Tracing the roots of the BJP to the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, which was established in 1951 as the political wing of the pro-Hindu group Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh by Syama Prasad Mookerjee, he stated that Bharatiya Jana Sang in the general elections of 1951-52 had won only 3 seats but today the party is relishing the colossal support of people, and is doing the best to steer India to new heights of progress and prosperity.
