KULGAM, FEBRUARY 28: A meeting of officers was today held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi Ud-Din Bhat to review implementation status of Self Employment schemes in the district.
During the meeting, the officers from line departments briefed the chair about the coverage of beneficiaries under various self employment schemes of their departments.
Addressing the meeting, the DC stressed upon the concerned officers to ensure coverage of all Panchayat Halqas homogeneously under Self Employment Schemes and achievement of targets during the current financial year.
The DC directed the Lead District Manager Kulgam for early sanction/ disbursement of all pending cases of all line departments.
The Assistant Director Employment Dr. Adnan Tariq informed the Chair that upto previous month 4645 beneficiaries have been covered under various self employment schemes during the current financial year and more than 5 beneficiaries have been benefitted in all Panchayat Halqas so far.
The meeting was attended by ADDC, CPO, GM-Industries, ACR, AD, Employment, CAO, CHO, AD-Handloom/ Handicrafts and other officers.
