DC Kulgam visits far-off Kund area

Takes stock of Snow clearance, restoration of services

KULGAM, JANUARY 06: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-ud-Din Bhat today visited far flung areas of  Kund valley  and took  stock of Snow clearance operations and restoration of essential services in the area.

The DC visited far-flung areas of Razloo, Nowbugh, kraloo, waltangoo and several other areas of the Kund valley.

He also visited Ziyarat Shareef, Hazrat Syed Noor Shah Wali Baghdadi (RA) at Waltangoo Kund and took stock of developmental works and availability of facilities for devotees there.

During his visit, the DC interacted with Auqaf Committee members Waltangoo and listened to their demands. He also interacted with the people and enquired about the availability of essentials and other services in the area.

People appreciated the administration for timely Snow clearance and restoration of services.

The DC urged people to follow Covid appropriate behavior to avoid spread of Covid-19 infection.

Earlier, the DC inspected the health center at Razloo Kund and took stock of patient care and other medical services being provided to people here.

He also interacted with the patients, attendants and enquired about the facility being provided to them in the hospital.

The DC also visited Disaster centres and took stock of availability of facilities which can be utilized in case of any exigency in the area as the area is avalanche prone.

Accompanying the DC were ADC Kulgam, Showkat Ahmad Rather and other officers.
